The last few weeks when we've had to cancel due to attendance issues I've secretly been pleased. Doesn't make me happy to say that though. Love who I play with, some have become "real life" friends. I just have felt so burned out. I don't think the raiding itself is stressful. But there's so much things you have to do between the raids (e.g. rep grinding, dailies) just to keep you in line with the others that playing can start to feel like a second job. I've enjoyed a lot of these few weeks before the next patch when we don't have official raids and I'm able to do whatever I want (or even spend days without logging).MariJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14843320578672486698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1693025581292755609.post-46242860142610152222013-08-17T10:22:21.167-07:002013-08-17T10:22:21.167-07:00It is stressful, we have a great group of peeps wh...It is stressful, we have a great group of peeps which helps a lot. The level of needed commitment is tough though, and there are so many other things I want to do too. Looking forward to getting to "catch" up on some other stuff. :)Jaygurrlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05165811552980946548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1693025581292755609.post-18277288525980448952013-08-17T10:21:11.251-07:002013-08-17T10:21:11.251-07:00I didn't until Mists. They were short a heals and I said I would give it a try. We have struggled with progression, which also may contribute to it not being as fun as it was at first. We're one of those friends and family teams and we don't min max our team etc etc. It has been fun but also time consuming. School will suck up lots of my time, but I am looking forward to getting to do some other stuff other than prepping for raid. :)Jaygurrlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05165811552980946548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1693025581292755609.post-29089970639579376452013-08-17T07:43:18.820-07:002013-08-17T07:43:18.820-07:00Whilst I'll happily do some LFR I've never...Whilst I'll happily do some LFR I've never raided 'properly' as I think I'd find it way to stressful! I agree with Colleen though - WoW is amazing as it has so many ways to play & level. It can suit prety much any play style.Jojohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14075991022814021056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1693025581292755609.post-20167835281221278962013-08-17T03:41:09.888-07:002013-08-17T03:41:09.888-07:00I have never gotten into raids, mostly because of ...I have never gotten into raids, mostly because of the time/social commitment. I do mostly PVE, though my husband and I occasionally do random battlegrounds together. I think that's one of the really great things about WoW -- how many ways there are to play the game and still enjoy it and be able to get your frustrations out. :)Colleenhttp://www.colleenvanderlinden.comnoreply@blogger.com
